Roughly 2 years ago I attended Google devfest in Pune and started to see and experiment with Google App Engine (GAE). The platforms were few then and the area comparatively nascent.

Last month when VMWare launched CloudFoundry, the market and maturity of the cloud computing is much higher. Google too launched the newer version of GAE in Google IO this year. We have many business applications hosted in Amazon EC2, Joyent and many such services! Online storage for Music has been launched by Amazon and is in Beta by Google. Similar news is heard from Apple too!

Cloud is changing..emerging…and changing the market big time. Though the  big enterprise is yet to taste the cloud for real applications, the space is going to be interesting to watch and follow…more soon!
